Pending weather the departure will be May 23rd South on I 25 to El Paso then southeast to big bend National park on our way to the Florida Keys
All camping gear has been layed on and ready for stowing. Bikes will be serviced and all recently purchased new parts will be installed within the next couple weeks. Bonecrusher gave me this awesome iPod interface for my Karman Hardon on board stereo system. It mounts on top of the stereo system under the faring and and a system firmware update is applied, so the iPod is charged and played through my stereo as well as controlling it from the handle bar controls. Should keep me entertained on the long lonely roads through Texas.
Jimmy has been reading up on all the latest ways to make a trip more comfortable, medically speaking. He has provided numerous articles about taking care of your back while riding long distances.
Stinky and I have been working out the logistics on how to get his bike here from Junction and I think we finally have the answer. Prior to departure we we take the trailer over to Junction and tow it over the mountains to the Springs.
