Blue Owl Bakery & Restaurant

Ok made my day got to Kimmswick MO and the Blue Owl Bakery and it defiantly met expectations  I had the “butterscotch pecan pie and Stinky had the Levee high lemon Meringue. The first pic is a levee high apple, Carmel, pecan.

After we left the Blue owl went highway 94 along the Missouri River only to be turned around due to flood waters over the road from the river.

Did find the KATY bike path in Portland MO and its access. Looks like a pretty lazy ride. Some of it was not passable do to high waters. Also found the MRT ”Mississippi River trail” south of Hannibal on highway 79, not as well maintained and a lot of close road riding.

Headed to Lake of the Ozarks Tomorrow on our way back towards Colorado. Should be in Kansas later on tomorrow.
