After a leisurely lunch we head west again which took us up until dusk in Emporia KS. Still 550 miles from home but with the massive cold front coming through on Thursday we wanted to make sure we weren’t riding in the snow and sub zero temps.

Homeward bound
After leaving the Blue Owl we headed west toward Colorado and ended up for a short morning ride to the Lake of the Ozark's and went to the air park at the state park and then down to the lake. Hard to see how massive it is from the ground due to all the trees.
After a leisurely lunch we head west again which took us up until dusk in Emporia KS. Still 550 miles from home but with the massive cold front coming through on Thursday we wanted to make sure we weren’t riding in the snow and sub zero temps.
