Moorehead City, NC & the Outer Banks

Well yesterday was our first encounter with bad weather, we hit a severe lightening and thunderstorm but fortunately only lasted about 45 minutes then went away. We took shelter at a Stucky's gas station and ate a pecan log.

We are headed for the place that the first flight was taken by the Wright Brothers and the museum. Then push north toward cooler temps and New England. Should have some good feedback and pics today to post tomorrow.

Congratulations to the Elephant ride finishers.

    Those pecan logs have two days worth of calories in each one. But oh yeah,you guys are working them off riding those motorbikes!
